Sharing of files have been made extremely easy with the use of Xender for both Android and iPhone users as it shares files at a super fast speed via hotspot.
The app creates a mobile hotspot and allows two or more users to connect and share files over the network. What many are not aware of is that while files are being shared, your mobile data connection is being shared as well and this is not good if you are under a budget data plan and the other user is a heavy data user.
When you create a connection via Xender, the creator of the connection is automatically set to share his mobile data plan with other group members so you need to put this into consideration if you don’t want to share your plan with others.
How not to share your mobile data while using xender
• Launch Xender on your phone.
• Click on options and an array of options will be listed.
• Click settings and toggle the “Share mobile data” switch off.
• Save, exit Xender and restart for use.
Now you have successfully prevented yourself from sharing your data connection with others while your Xender is launched and active.
